Using the Powerball to Dissolve Ego (Notes From Joyelle)
About the Powerball
The Powerball comes through the Rope of Truth to those who attend satsang or come for a healing.
Always connect to your Inner Beingness (IB) first, ask your IB to help you dissolve ego.
The Love and Light inside Powerball dissolves ego.
People who come to satsang are given a Powerball or have the Powerball recharged.
Use of the Powerball is most effective during satsang.
It is like attending 10 satsangs with the Rope of Truth alone.
The Ego
The Ego is a collection of feelings - pain, sorrow, sadness, hopelessness…it is a collection of depression, despair etc. more of a composite of experiences that have negative emotions. Ego is also the good emotions, like love, happiness, gladness. And ego comes from the thoughts of Outer Consciousness.
Emotions
Emotions are the reactions that the cognitive mind gives when it has an experience…it gives it to the ego part of the cognitive mind. Emotions are part of the Ego.
First Level – Dissolving Ego as Thoughts
If you give your egoic thoughts to the Powerball, it will dissolve them.
One must always give thoughts in a True way; a True way is the process of recognizing them, feeling remorse, and surrendering them. If you do not do this in a True way, the thoughts will be returned to you - you will keep thinking the same way and nothing will have changed.
Second Level – Surrendering Emotions to the Powerball.
You can surrender emotions to the Powerball. Egoic emotions are those that cause an emotional reaction in a person. When you surrender these emotions to the powerball, one must feel the other person’s pain and suffering. You must ask for forgiveness and surrender these emotions.
If this is not done in Truth, the emotions will be returned to you.
Third Level – Surrendering Patterns to Their Powerball.
One must recognize the pattern, ask for it to be taken from them, and this surrender must be in totality.
Fourth Level – In the Fourth Level of using the powerball, one seeks to find lost pieces of themselves.
Most people will have to have assistance to do this.
This assistance comes from a person who can see the lost part.
The assistance comes from the Divine helping to locate this part.
This lost part must be brought back into the person’s heart.
**
For the most part, we recommend that the person uses the powerball in levels.
When one is always in thought, one cannot give up their emotions.
Eg. clear thoughts before you clear emotions.
Always start with the thoughts like “She hurt me…” give this up first.
Then go to the emotions, give them up.
Patterns are more difficult because one must recognize them.
The Fourth Level gives up all.

Powerball Demonstration from Sunday, September 4, 2011
A volunteer was asked to look at her feelings, sort and label them into fear, anger, frustration etc. Then she was asked to release her emotions into the powerball. The lost part related to her emotions appeared as a little being in white; it was complaining bitterly, like it had nowhere to go. These are fragments of ourselves that take on our emotional stuff. Joyelle said that she was entangled in an emotional dilemma, and the lost part needed to be brought back into her heart so that her pain and suffering could be removed, and a new choice shown. She was asked to encourage her lost part to return to her heart by first apologizing for sending her out to deal with what she was going through, and by adding loving words like - it is time to return, and we were meant to be whole and together. The pattern around these emotions was then addressed and Joyelle said it was most important for her to go into the ‘why’s’ of why she did this. The pattern buckled as she looked at the ‘why’s’ and spoke honestly from her heart about her fears - of failure, self-doubt, change etc.

Questions and Answers from Sunday, September 4, 2011
Should we be doing our homework in satsang?
Joyelle: We highly recommend that this is best. Most times during satsang, your thoughts will prevail – give those away.
Is there a residual pain that comes up afterwards even though it’s been cleared?
Joyelle: This pain is still part of the story. When this pain comes up, go into it, redo the process, and in this way, you will take away all layers. You have just gone into the first layer, you have built this up over time. You must remove it in layers.
I have a sense of my Inner Beingness, so now with the Powerball, I don’t know how to find her.
Joyelle: Your Inner Beingness will help you use the powerball. Look at it this way, when you have the Powerball, your Inner Beingness is very busy. She is busy putting all the thoughts and emotions into the ball. They flow into the ball with her help.
Could you please comment on those who feel very tired after satsang.
Joyelle: We recommend that when one is very, very, very tired after satsang, look at why you are holding onto your beliefs, position, and why you are defending and justifying.
Since we’ve been using the Powerball, I find during the week I get quite disoriented; I don’t really have a sense of time, like it’s either something is taking way too long or too short…I’m wondering if that relates to the Powerball or if it’s something else.
Joyelle: For you, this is because you are using the powerball, but not wanting to let go.
How often should one come to satsang?
Joyelle: We recommend one session per week – you need to become egoless but not quickly.
How should one deal with the strong emotions that come up before and after satsang?
Joyelle: Those emotions that come up are still attached to the ego. We invite you to put these into the Powerball.
How often should we do our personal work with the Powerball?
Joyelle: We recommend that you use it every moment of every waking hour. It will become part of you.
How should one use the Powerball on a daily basis, what format?
Joyelle: Start by asking your Inner Beingness to put every thought into the Powerball. To start with, do it often during the day, then go into the feeling of it. When you are working, you may only be able to put thoughts into it.
How is one supposed to function, have balance so we don’t end up at work curled up in a ball?
Joyelle: We recommend that now for you, because of these emotions you have built up, use the Powerball.
So you are saying that at satsang and at home, we can do this intensively, but when we’re out in the world, we can still do it, but we’re skimming the top instead of going in depth?
Joyelle: Yes
Can you speak to the physical symptoms and changes we experience as we’re shifting our thought patterns?
Joyelle: You will feel nausea.
After satsang, it sometimes takes a few hours before I feel ‘normal.’
Joyelle: This is because you are justifying your position – let go of your position.
Pearl talked about her love for the Divine and all the pain and suffering we have caused ourselves, others, and the Earth plane. She talked about the experience of floating everywhere and getting used to being this. When she began to ‘settle,’ she would engage in intense inner work so she wouldn’t come back so hard into form. She talked about shifting what we prefer as ‘normal,’ loving a True state within, loving not being the ‘Old Self,’ and loving the whole texture and environment of just being, instead of being form. You get used to this by finding the part of you that loves being True and siding with that and loving it to death…
But if people are resisting living in form is that a healthy thing to do?
Joyelle: What you call living in form it is actually called living in ego.
Pearl: If you do this long enough, one realizes that this (the way we are existing) is not the way we are supposed to be. One can run towards Truth, but not in order to avoid something else.
Joyelle: Form will always be there, it is your body. It is inside that changes. What you seek to hold onto is permanence – embrace the changes.
What kind of thoughts should one put into the Powerball?
Joyelle: Every thought – “It is a nice day” “It is good food” “It is bad hair”
Follow-up question: Why would you give good things into the Powerball?
Joyelle: All things are created by ego. By giving even the good thoughts to the Powerball, you are not the decider. This way, ego has no place to go. We invite that you feel goodness, not to think it. Eg. Instead of “I love you,” just feel love.
What happens in the process of putting thoughts into the Powerball?
Joyelle: When you dissolve enough ego, the pain and suffering that accompanies ego will be dissolved.
After satsang, I often feel not so clear –
Joyelle: This is a good thing; be with that. Do not try to make sense of it. It is ego trying to reclaim itself.
